Irish beer that's vegetarian friendly? 16 years 6 months ago #1

Is there a list of Irish beers that are ok for vegetarians anywhere? I found this list[/url:vpq0ojbf] but it's only got Guinness and Bulmers. Has anyone got anything better like with a list of the Irish beers that are and aren't veggie safe?

I'd be specifically interested in the stout alternatives to Guinness. Also, what beers have the full ingredients on the label including whether or not finings are used?

Cheers in advance for any help

Excuse my ignorance but why would a beer [i:3fk9v1ri]not[/i:3fk9v1ri] be vegetarian safe?

Ahh. Well that makes sense then.

Is it used that much? Or would Irish Moss be more popular?

They're all [i:19o73zd6]veggie safe[/i:19o73zd6] in that they won't really mind that you're a veggie when you're drinking them; they're not going to turn around and kill you or anything just cos of that. It's raw chicken that veggies should really be worried about - that stuff can be lethal
