i just had to share this. i was in one of the shops of that country who has now taken us over by non military means (i.e their shops are everywhere), and boy was i in for a surprise. I went shopping to get cereal (what was i thinking) but for some unknown reason i miraculously ended up in the beer section not sure how i got there (some kind of gravitional pull i'd be wise not to go into here), so needless to say left without the cereal that day. It came down to a choice between london irish or fuller's honey dew, my heartbeat exceeded 100 in the decision making process, the picture of the bee (yes fickle is me) swayed me in the end. But boy what a great decision it turned out to be. One of the best beers i've tasted in years. So given the extra 70 cents (2.05) the hackmeoff (hackenberg) can take a hike for the next month (at least).
So, 'til me own brew comes home to roost in me tummy.
