I've had an Adnams , From Galvins in Blackpool ( it's a carry out offie ) It was good beer . Can't remember which one . But I did see about 4 of them in the Abbots last night .

:edit it was the Innovation I had , and it was good beer , for some reason I thought it was american , and was thinking to myself " that's nice , not as disgustingly Hoppy as most american brews " had a look at the bottle last night and it's english .

Good balanced beer I feel.

Drinking an Explorer at the moment, quite disappointed to be honest. I don't get the grapefruit citrus burst that I was promised on the label. It's quite 'samey'.

I hope the Innovation is better.

In other news, Deveneys also have 750ml bottles of McChouffe, which I LOVE (or at least did when I lived in Netherlands)!

Edit: Innovation is a much more flavourful sup altogether, quite a hoppy, malty balanced taste.

Picked up a bottle of Innovation in the Abbots last week-end but have not had it yet. Also had a bottle of Classic bitter in the Abbot's bar last Friday - was a bit too cold, just out of fridge but quite nice all the same.

Checked the Adnam's website and great deals online if y live in the U.K. With a brewer with the name Fergus FitzGerald sure sounds like some irish conenction there!!!

BTW Few Adnam's beers on Bierhaus Fest menu this week-end as well.

I'm from Lmerick but have been in England for about 12 years now, at Fullers in London for about 7 years and now at Adnams for the past 5 years.
Innovation is a fantastic beer even if I do say so myself.
Our Bottled Broadside is also very good if you can get it over there, it's a dark, malty, fruity beer.
