Carlow's Malty bitches bitter, hope alls well with it actually as the cask exploded like a champagne bottle and the hops were left stuck to the ceiling and all over the back fitting, Liam says that it wont mater

A murky brown brew, certainly hoppy, but with a malty heaviness to it that I was a little unsure of. It was pleasent enough, quite reminded me of some UK bitters I have had but I didn't really fancy a second pint. Anyone else's thoughts?

yeah I had a couple of these on saturday night. I really enjoyed the first, so I had another! Nice and hoppy, with a lovely roasty malty balance. Nice and fresh too, there was still a bit of life in it. It was like a nicer version of ohara's red, much more body, and those hops that I love.

I think that malty heaviness was part of what I enjoyed. I found it a really satisfying pint.
