I know beer gets infected and that there is also a possibility of something going wrong. Just saying if I heard someone made 3 bad batches in a row I am not sure I would bother brewing.
Hairymac, how did you have the persavernace to continue brewing after your failures at the start ?

because i know it can taste good. also when I have tasted other homebewers beer sometimes it has picked up an infection they just can't distinguish the taste. they assume this is how it is supposed to taste, Maybe i'm of over sensetive to brettanomyces and other wild yeasts. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> It only takes a small infection to spoil a batch. After much trial and error i managed to eliminate infections by changing my buckets regularly, and having no daughts or not brewing outside, also covering the kettle while chilling.
