Top-notch dark lager for €1.50 a bottle (ish) 16 years 10 months ago #1

BrewDog are doing a 70% discount on their Zeitgeist dark lager if ordered through www.zeitgeistbeer.com/ (not the main BrewDog site) with the discount code SHEEP. It means 12 x 33cl bottles come in at £3.60.

As usual, of course, we outside the UK get shafted on the delivery costs -- an unattractive £20. BUT (thanks to Adeptus for doing the maths on this) if you buy 24 bottles the delivery only goes up to £22. I just ordered my 24 and Paypal charged me €35.02 for it.

Zeitgeist is lovely (my review is at the end here[/url:3k1bidfv]) and a great beer for just having in stock for easy drinking, I reckon, at least until Tesco bring back cheap Brooklyn Lager.

I've no idea how the delivery is going to play out, nor do I know how long this offer is going to last.

Great value. I just got 20 bottles of CAMRA for 55 quid. It's a shame it's cheaper to buy from outside the country.

I just went to order 2x12 packs. Yesterday, and clearly earlier today, it was £20 delivery to both Ireland and Germany, for either 12 or 24 bottles. Now it's £35 delivery, bringing the order from £27.20 (€31.55) to £42.20 (€49)! So €2.04 per bottle when ordering 24 compared to the €1.30 it was yesterday, is not as attractive for me.

Is the delivery to Ireland still at 20 quid?

Although, if I order 48 bottles, the delivery is still £35

Yep. I got the TBN deal earlier today.

Can you check again? Just wondering if this is a very recent hike.
