The Brooklyn was always billed as a limited-time special offer. It's quite likely to come back again. And AFAIK, the €1.99 Duvel is a special offer too.

dunno, the 1.99 Duvel says "price drop" on it in Dundrum, it's a regular black and white label on the shelf too, not a yellow one like the specials usually are.

Well that's good. They were yellow last I saw in Jervis. I'd still swap back for the Brooklyn offer, mind.

Likewise, but while 8.99 was fantastic, 10.99 for a sixpack of quality craft beer is still good value @ 1.83 a bottle.

Brooklyn Lager is still selling for 8.99 in my local SuperValu outside Naas. It's been that way for at least 3 months.
