i have to say that i'd really miss a good pint of shandon stout, that is whenever i leave the Peoples Republic i really miss the shandon stout.

It's an interesting question because while we bitch about the poor variety of draught beer available in Ireland, the craft beers we do produce are generally first-class. I know I'd miss the zesty delights of Galway Hooker - it's similar to Sierra Nevada and some other US beers but you won't find anything like it on draught in the Britain or mainland Europe. I'd also miss Blarney Blonde and bottles of O'Hara's and Clotworthy Dobbin...
