Badger Hopping Hare Ale 17 years 1 month ago #1

I picked up a couple of bottles of this from up north today and it claimed to be 'thrice hopped'...as in hops were added for bitterness, flavour and aroma at different stages. Isn't this normal for beers as its what is done for homebrewing

Its a very nice beer by the way, particularly for Badger ales

As long as it sounds technical it can be turned into a selling point. "Cold filtered"? Mmm... must be good...

They don't need to do it to sell the beer as its easily the best Badger beer out there (in my opinion)

I had this on cask in London last month. It was very nice indeed. Badger beers are all a little dodgy in bottle I find. The few I've had on cask were far better.

Just had this beer. A really nice green hoppy ale. Smells of green vegetables in a good way and is nice and green tasting.

A lovely spring beer.
