I agree, more drinkable being less sweet as before IMO, a very fine drink.
About the chocolate taste fading, might this be because of the late addition of the cocoa(?) in the boil? Like aroma hops, the cocoa gives it a fleeting effect between taste and aroma but to made it drinkable it dissipates quickly?

Had a pint of this yesterday, Really really nice. I found the Chocolate faded a little bit towards the end but there was still a fair bit of it there on the last mouthful.
Really enjoyed it!!

Is it weird that I've been thinking about this beer all week? I am counting down until I'll be in the Porterhouse tomorrow so I can have another pint of it.

I was talking to the man who brews it and he says he doesn't like it all that much which is funny given everyone else seems to love it.

My wife had a couple of pints of this on Saturday and "highly recommends it." I snuck a couple of sips and found it to be one of the better chocolate brews that I've tasted recently. The other really good chocolate stout we've had recently was Southern Tier's Chokolat, and I planned to bring a bottle along, but could not find another one at the package store (US equivalent of an off-licence) before we left for Dublin.
