The three Van Steenberge beers -- Celis, Augustijn and Sparta -- are on tap now in Sin É (I have first hand [size=75:2jnui47w]*burrp*[/size:2jnui47w] evidence of that) and Dice Bar as well, I'm told. Wicked cider expected next week.

Big Hand is not based at the old DBC works but elsewhere in the north inner city -- East Arran Street.

Did the evidence confirm if these three beers were any use? I've never been to Sin É, but if it's worth going, it's worth going.

Celis White is nice: not a million miles from Hoegaarden, but drier and with a smidge more coriander. Sparta is a very dry, bitter lager, if that's your thing you'll like it. Not tried the Augustijn yet.

And Sin É have Hooker and free wi-fi, so of course it's worth going <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

According to the barman in Dice yesterday, there are no plans to start brewing...its just imports.

That Sparta beer is terrible I thought
