I met Aidan of Galway Hooker outside the Palace on Fleet Street the Saturday before last and asked him when they were going to get bottling - he didn't divulge too much information but he did say "we're talking to the Porterhouse". I wasn't sure what to make of that until I read the piece on ICB about the Porterhouse's intentions to actively seek other Irish brewers who were interested in using their new bottling facility. Now it all makes sense. Sadly, however, if they were still only 'talking' about it ten days ago it'll probably be a while before we see bottles on shelves. Still, better late than never - GH is now available in about 40 pubs, bottling is the next logical step, and I'm sure there'll be a market for it here and abroad.
