I was talking to a Cork publican, he says the brewing of Beamish red has ceased. he got 6 last kegs of it. sad to see it go.

Thought so.
Well that's the end of me going to my local. Good job I nicked a Beamish Red pint glass last time I was in.

I heard a few months ago that it was going alright. There weren't many places in Dublin that sold it. The only ones I was familiar with were Peters Pub and Johnny Foxes

West County Hotel had it last time I was there. Incidentally, it was the cheapest pint I've seen in a long time in an Irish pub.
Also Cusack's in North Strand have it.

A diplomat friend suggested that we protest outside the Dutch Embassy because they never get any protests. Pints afterwards in Paddy Cullens.
