Presumably it could be filled via the liquid out posts and a disconnect.

The link in my previous post is an alternative: instead of filling from conditiong tanks, fill from the (already carbonated) keg. It might be easier and could even be done in a pub's cold room, I'm willing to a do a test run <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

[quote:1esldojx]That is why we would be given flat beer to gas up ourselves.[/quote:1esldojx]You mean flat beer in the cornie as against in a cask? OK, that would be fine too.

I agree, but if you have the equipment, you may as well use it.

I'm all on for testing this method, but i can't be seen to be playing around with pub stock. Maybe if a couple of us bought a keg(i'm sure ronan would do me a deal), we could try this. Any takers ??

While I am a big fan of Galway Hooker, I can't see myself ever doing this. If I want to have a beer for a house party I'll brew it (those of you who came back to my place for the post B&C continuation of my stag can attest to this). That is why I have the cornies in the first place.

Having said that, I would suggest one little addition to the process, if you do decide to go ahead with it; upon request, could Aiden prime the cornie at filling time? Not everybody wants to force carbonate and those of you with the smaller co2 bottles used in the dispense system Geoff is not trying to promote with this thread, probably don't want to use up the co2 required.

Also, i'm away from 19-26th this month. Do you want to wait intil then??
