European Championship of Beers 17 years 11 months ago #1

Article in the Guardian comparing a beer from each of the countries appearing in the Euros
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008/06/06/eu...onship_of_beers.html">blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008/ ... beers.html

haven't drunk too many of the beers mentioned and some rather safe choices picked by the writer for some of the countries, he did go for a Grolsch wheatbeer though for the Dutch.

It's all bottled beers too, so even if Ireland had qualified Galway Hooker wouldn't have got a look in.

Well, I'm heading to Croatia in two weeks, so at least I know what to avoid now! <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->
