But you're talking, what, 4.2%ish, against 6%. There's a lot more ingredients in the engine oil.

I would say their mash tun and system is designed for medium gravity ales a 6% beer is probably going to produce a smaller volume of wort
Had another bottle of same in the Bierhaus again lately - first drink each evening! I would love to say I really loved it but it was only o.k. I thought. Looking at some reviews on BeerAdvocate many members felt it was over-rated too. I followed it with a Bitter & Twister from Harviestons as well which was superb as always. Can't please us all the time!!!!!!

Yup, me too. Just didn't do that much for me either.
I reckon Skullsplitter or Coopers Stout are a better and cheaper option or Gulden Draak for someting stronger.
