What's this notion of liking craft beer [i:2dd2jpav]or[/i:2dd2jpav] loud music but never the twain..?
Admittedely we may be all getting on a bit <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="

" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> , and becoming settled in our ways, but does 'craft beer pub' have to equal 'old man's pub'? Genuine question. What are peoples thoughts?
I know Séan has mentioned how Maguires turns into a cattle mart, but even in my 'youth', those kind of places weren't my thing. But does it have to go the other extreme? I like my music, and like a pub to play good music . Hell, I did my stint as a dj for a few years, and plagued enough people with noise pollution on a saturday night.
Now I do like my afternoon pints, and quiet pubs. But surely good beer in lively pubs is only going to help promote the 'image' of craft beer, be it Irish or otherwise.
