I don't think they are trying to confuse the consumer as such, although as evidenced by my recent slip up, Hop House 13 as a name certainly has <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="

I'm not sure what's going through their mindset but I imagine they want something, anything on the shelf to keep them relevant. It might also be a case of the more new stuff they bring out, the more shelf and tap space they keep away from the annoying little gnats that are biting in to their profit.
