Ever had one of these when it comes to craft beer? Ever made a mistake and instantly regretted it?

Happened to me on Saturday. I was out with the camera group on boards.ie doing a photo walk. One of them was fascinated by the craft beer scene but doesn't drink and we were talking about the latest Guinness attempts as we headed to Porterhouse Temple Bar for a pit stop.

Bartender paused for a second, and said I take it you mean Hop Head? <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
I said Agh.. sorry yeah, of course. I had just been talking about Guinness stuff... <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt="" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->

Bartender didn't know who I was of course.

So, anything like that happen to someone before?

Same in reverse. I went into a local pub
Me: "A pint of Hop Head"
Barman: "You mean Hop House?"
Me: "No Hop Head"
Barman: "You mean Hop House?"
Me: "No Hop Head"
Barman: "We don't have that"
Me: "you had it on Tuesday"
Barman: "Oh no one was drinking it so we took it out"
