Anyone have any more details on a newish brewery in the north west, O'Connor Craft Beer? Maybe Irish Goat has info?

What's baffling me is the name AND logo are exactly the same as O'Connor Brewing in the US.

Weird. It's the first I've heard of them. From looking at the 2 links you posted I imagine they haven't nothing to do with the US brewery. I can't believe anyone would be that stupid to just blatantly rip off another brewery's logo, especially one with the same name. I should be walking past Walled City today so I'll maybe pop in and ask James there if he knows anything more.

Merely using a name doesn't confer ownership. It's what's registered at the Companies Office that matters.

The logos are similar, but aren't the same.

Cheers. The brewers name is Michael and the beers are on sale in the area, including Walled City.

Actually, the O'Connor family emblem has the same, big tree on it. So it might just be a coincidence.

Was over in Walled City this weekend and James cracked open a bottle of Brassy Blonde to share between us. I was quite impressed, it's very clean, has a nice biscuity malt backbone and a subtle hop character. Hopefully meeting the guy next weekend so I'll see what more I can find out.
