Cheers Moosehead
Was in Schull for most part. Eurospar on Main Street had (had, I have to stress!) the full core range of Blacks. Also had the full range of 9 White Deer (which was great as I got to sample the black ipa).
Pubs wise I wasn't out much but pleased to see that things have changed. 3 years ago I was delighted to see Hackett's had a few bottles of Clothworthy Dobben. This time round it had bottles of 8 degrees Howling Gale (& sold out of Full Sail) & Rising Sons IPA on draught (yum)
Newman's across the road had Rising Sun Mi Daza & Sunbeam Pilsner on tap & Blacks Pale ale as well. Decent set of bottles: Sheep Stealer, Jack Cody's Duxie, Helvick & copper coast from Dungarvan & black's Rocketship ipa.
Regan's round the corner had 9 White Deer in bottles
Handily for me, Hacketts & Newmans are small dog friendly. The former does an amazing ploughman's lunch (with a slice of West Cork pork pie!)
Snuck into Fields & picked up some Full Sail- didnt get a chance to see what the pubs had to offer.
Was in Baltimore early in the week- no sign of the local beer in the pubs & zero notice driving past Casyes that they have their own unique product for sale in their hotel. Due to the tragic events of the week didn't get back to head in to check their beers out
It's such an amazing part of the country with cracking food it's great to see craft beer getting a footing
