Beer list for the Brooklyn Brewery tasting menu with beers that's coming up looks good.

Plenty I've not had.

Wild Horse Brett Porter | 6.5%
earthy, funky brett-fermented porter

Sorachi Ace | 7.6%
citrusy farmhouse saison featuring the rare sorachi ace hop

Galahad (Local 1 barrel aged on Cider Lees) | 9%
strong belgian golden ale barrel aged on cider lees

Dark Matter | 8.9%
robust brown ale aged for months in bourbon and rye whiskey barrels

Greenmarket Wheat | 5%
weisse brewed from New York state wheat, malt and hops

Black Ops | 10.5%
imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels

Cuvee Noire | 10.6%
belgian style stout brewed with mauritius sugar and orange peel aged in bourbon barrels

Hand & Seal Cognac | 13.8%
brawny barleywine-style ale aged in cognac barrels

Lancelot (Sorachi Ace barrel aged on wine lees)
citrusy farmhouse saison barrel aged on wine lees

Considering its Katie Sanderson cooking dinner and you've got an element of paid beer-celebrity speaker in Garret Oliver reckon it sounds like it's going to awesome.

Anyone else going?

It's on in the Fumbally Stables, 19th May. Tickets are €80 a head - you email the organisers at fourcorners.ie...

Why are we not getting SN Hophunter or Ruthless Rye 2015?

The Hoppy Lager is garbage, 7% lagers are so fecking pointless.

Foreign Beer Spotting 10 years 11 months ago #17

Ruthless is only part of a mixed four pack now, which might explain it.

Hoping the Kölsch makes it.

One would imagine Hop Hunter will appear unless Tony Magee sunk the shipment?

You might have to stick with the 'garbage' and the odd Torpedo.

Wait, maybe Tony somehow used the Torpedo to...

Speaking of Torpedo...

2 month old cans of the stuff in Molloys, get in there.
