London Sour Beers 11 years 2 months ago #1

I'll be in London on the weekend of the 6th and 7th of March, and specifically the Bermondsey Beer Mile on the 7th.

Anyone any London sour beers they highly recommend? I see Kernel are doing at least one, but any other ones I really need to try?

brodies have really gone in for sours ina big way, you may need to head out to william IV in leightonstone to try them, though often on in brewdog bars. As wella s berlinnerweises (which is same as brewdog/kernel) they've also done a rodenbach and a flemish bruin. Obviously look out for stuff from Wild/Burning sky too as they use wild yeasts

Purely by coincidence, but as if by fate, I'm staying down the street from that pub tomorrow night, so we'll be sure to call.

Some spread of beers they have too.

I visited about 6 years ago, just after they'd opened. IF you go during the day you may be able to get a look at the brewery if you ask nicely. My mate Jonny who used to work for brewdog now brews for them and owner is a nice chap too.
