Thanks for the heads-up! I tried Tesco, Clondalkin on Saturday. Paulaner hefe on the shelves marked at €2.49, so I says to the guy there "I heard that this stuff was €1.49, wasdasdory?" So he scans a bottle for me and reveals €1.49; happy days! I got 8 of them.

Dundrum were out last night. Interestingly the erdinger which was on the same shelf with the same sign just beside it was all gone too - I wonder how many people just saw the yellow "SALE" price and grabbed it not knowing any different - easily done in fairness, the bottles were a bit mixed when I got mine, and both being beigish I had to be sure to grab only the paulaner.

Ah well...I'll have to make do with Aventius in The Comet off licence for €2.69 a pop <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
