Rotating seasonals on cask in the PH would be wonderful. As you say, they know how to handle casks and have the equipment so it shouldn't be a bother. I think that TSB must sell reasonably well because I have rarely had a bad pint of it, but then again I have never, ever seen anybody order it.

If it didn't sell, the pumps would have disappeared long ago. Remember the Porterhouse Weiss Bier?

I am a fan of TSB, would love to see seasonal variation on the cask and would be very surprised if other TSB drinkers would not. If you are willing to drink one cask beer you will try another. Having said that, I think TSB, at 3.7% ABV, fills a “sensible pint” niche, which might explain why the porterhouse could be reluctant to mess with it.

Cask seasonals would be great.

Did they finally drop PH Weiss? Can't say I noticed. It was pretty poor, though.

I thought their Weisse was the fruitiest wheat beer I ever tasted. Didn't really like it, but strangley a few of my non beer infatuated friends have asked for it in particular when at the Porerhouse, despite not bothering with any of their other brews.

Well, I haven't seen it in a while and it's not on the beer list on their website, so I think it's safe to say they quietly dropped it. I never liked it, I must say. I'm not a purist when it comes to wheat beers either, I like Friar Weiss, even though it tastes nothing like a German weiss. The Porterhouse Weiss was just lousy though.
