Anyone know what the mystery beer was at Electric Picnic? They said it was an Irish Ale, it was definitely a pale ale. Tasted to me like mostly European hops, noblish. I thought it was maybe Dungarvans? Anyone know for sure what it was or any other opinions from people who drank it?

Ok. We were given some Dungarvans Copper Coast for free by a nice lady at the Theatre of Food though.

I don't think so but its a while since I have had Smitchwicks PA. Its a Heineken affair so I don't know why they'd have Smithwicks. All the other beers at the "Beer Frontier" bar were Heineken brands like Paulaner and Affligem. This was just called "mystery beer" with the tag line "Irish ale".
