Best beers to represent Ireland? 12 years 4 months ago #1

Hi All,

Am heading to the Philippines in two days, and have found a little bottle shop that supplies a few good American beers, as well as local pale ales(needless to say the Philippines overall is where we were about 10 years ago beer wise, so am Delighted I found it!)
So as a token of appreciation, and just being a nationalist, I want to showoff and bring a few of the best Ireland has to offer with me, and am hoping to bring the holy trinity with me, I would appreciate advice, as I want to get it right!!

Stoutwise I was thinking West Kerry because it's my favourite, but I reckon overall Lean Foillain is the most popular, but ratebeer seems to go for wrasslers

IPAwise, I have a soft spot for Sabotage at the moment, but I reckon O'Hara's DIPA might be the way to go there

And Irish red I'm clueless about, the best I've had is from the burren brewery, but Fran well seems to be quite popular, and I remember copper coast being good too!

It's kinda like picking your favourite child, but all input would be welcome,your country needs you!

Ta,

Andy

I'd go with Porterhouse Celebration, Barney's and O'Hara's IPA. Feck red <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
