Will have to see about getting down.

I cam across this update in the Examiner:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.irishexaminer.com/ireland/brewing-up...ft-beers-255291.html">www.irishexaminer.com/ireland/br ... 55291.html

Seems they are changing the name of the stout from Humphrey's stout to Lynch's Pure Cork stout and the lager now to be called Mayfield lager (much better than Dakota lager!). There's also to be a Kerry Lane Pale ale.

Further down the article there's a reference to Peapod Cafe, Oliver Plunkett street applying for Planning permission for a pub and "nano brewery". And Benny (he of Heritage pubs Cork) also has big plans!

That's 7 windows, isn't it? Across from the Bodega.

That's certainly the location

Anybody go to the opening last night?

I went. The beer is very good, particularly the stout and pale ale. There's a nice bit of noble hop grassiness in the lager though it's a bit too fizzy for my liking.
