Another good read[/url:3favr73o]from TheBeerNut We need more festivals!

Damn right we do.

Incidentally, I was talking to a festival veteran afterwards (the same one who doesn't think Larkfield Big Chief tastes like homebrew) who pointed out, contrary to my article, than you can get a half pint in a festival pint glass, and that it's often rather good value, measurewise.

Great article, TBN. Will have to try and make the trip next year.

Nice article. I hope to go there next year. And yes, we certainly do need more festivals.

Very much enjoyed your article BN

There is Belfast coming up in November, I cant make that (going to South Africa with The Niall Mellon Township Challenge.)

Something that has been in the back of my mind is [b:1uu4ztsa]The Cambridge Beer Festival in February.[/b:1uu4ztsa] Could be good for an all-Ireland ICB meet. It is only 30min by train from Stanstead. Very easily accessed from all parts of Ireland thanks to that nice Mr. O’Leary.

I'd defo be on for a trip to the Hilden next year though. It seemed to kind of sneak up on us didn't it? or was it just me...?
