Great article, sounds like a good detailed tour more aimed at us than the normal tourist fare.

Thanks for the report. It sounded like a great day out.

On the point about hops being related to weed, I learned from wikipedia that hops and weed belong to the same botanical family (cannabaceae), which seems pretty closely related. At least it does if being of the same botanical family is comparable to being of the same zoological family. It might make them as related as african elephants are to asian elephants, for example, or long-beaked and bottle-nosed dolphins.

I once was showing my near-neighbour, who is a guard, round my brewing set up and he did a double take at the bag of hops I had in the fridge!
