Hi All,
I work across the road from Messrs Maguire's and I can take my lunch hour at, more or less, any time I want.
I was thinking of trying to meet the brewer do an interview and take a few snaps, for the website.
Any suggestions what I should ask him?

Not wishing to be negative, but you could try asking him why more of an effort is not being made to promote their brews. I know the brewer is not necessarily responsible for the running of the "front-of-house", but you saw my comment in the forum recently about the signs on the tables promoting Bud Light!

one thing that you could ask him would be about bottling some of the beers he exports and having them for sale here or even better copying hilden and having polypins for sale. thom/hendrixcat got me one - thanks again - at the franciscan well festival and it seems a great/cheap way to get the brews out there. or he could get the pub to copy what the well did seeing as the porterhouse don't seem interested.

just remembered there was a 'food and drink' festival in dublin castle last year. this year it's on in the iveagh gardens and i've just noticed there's a 'beer academy' involved, no branding near it but could be interesting. perhaps messers maguire should get involved in this?
