Fantastic night, extremely well organised, good fun, great brews and good people.
What an event and to take the first and second places I must say I was in debited to the People (for the peoles choice third place) and the Judges for taking home 1st and 2nd place.
Anyone remotely considering home brew should seriously take a look into it. It's cheap to do and extremely rewarding.

Thanks to all who organised the event and cooked the fantastic food.

Bring on the 2009 festival! Can't wait!

Tis a Good article, i will certainly be entering next year.

It was a great experience judging that event. Wonderful to see so many beers fielded and a room full of people drinking home made beer and wine. I hope this event continues to grow.

Sounds like a great success. Great to see such an interest in home brewing. Hopefully the event will be even bigger next time and there will be even more entries.
