Hi All,
I have put a few articles up on the main site and will be putting up more. I would be grateful if you would read them and give me your opinions, either on the forum, or in an email/PM.

I want to know about everything from factual mistakes to typos. If you disagree about something, but it is debateable, do it on the forum, so everyone can play. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Obviously, we are also looking for submissions, so if you want to write an article, let me know and I will change your user status to Author, allowing you to submit articles.

All articles are subject to an editorial review by Barry or I (probably me) before they go live on the website. I may change the formatting a bit, or insert an image or two, but I have no intention of heavily editing your copy.

We have a great new site, thanks to Barry’s sterling work. Now lets see what we can do with it.

Just to second that.

We really want the content side and community side to come together, and this forum is the place to try and stimulate discussion of things that you see in the content. With that in mind we will put stubs for "Discuss This Article" in here as a placeholder with a corresponding link in the content item. It's a bit of a manual process, so forgive us if it doesn't always happen, but we'll see if we can automate it a bit.

Also, as we have two travel articles courtesy of DrJohn, I've gone crazy and created a Travel category under Articles, so go on, tell us about your secret hideaways abroad <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

PS. Do you want to discuss Knowledge Base items here as well as articles?

I am working on a Destination Salzburg article at the moment. I should have something ready next week, if I have time.

Cool. I like Austria, but I have never actually been to Salzburg. I look forward to it.
