The Gingerman is near the Empire State and Grand Central Station. Bleecker St is in the West Village where a lot of celebs live/hang out (or so I'm told). If you're bringing your better half she could consider the Sex and the City tour[/url:12jx4efz]. The girls on our trip enjoyed it (it has a stop on Bleecker St).

Very informative article. Sadly it makes me realise how much I missed out on when I was last in New York.

One thing though, you have quoted me as saying that the Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA had little aroma, when, if I recall correctly, I said the 120 minute has little or no aroma. The 60 minute from the bottle packs a pungent resinous hop aroma. I know this because I had one over Christmas and have 3 more sitting in my beer fridge. Perhaps from the keg the 60 minute is a different beast entirely.

Maybe the aroma is more prominent in the bottle or maybe it was just the pint I got in that bar. It certainly had less aroma than the pale ale I had afterwards.

That's the great thing about web publishing, the article can be altered now and you can claim that that was how it always was. The ministry of truth would smile on such behaviour.
