Craft beer in restaurants 19 years 2 months ago #1

Has anyone come across any Dublin restaurant that has a half decent beer menu? I was in rhodesD7 restaurant a few weeks back. They had an excellent wine list (as you would expect), but when I asked about beer, the reply was a short list of the bland that included Heineken and Sol! I mean, [i:1zz8elcb]come on[/i:1zz8elcb]; this is supposed to be a good restaurant!

Unfortunately a lot of people think good beer is Heineken, this also include world class chefs

Belgo's was great. It had a wonderful beer list and the food was lovely.
I still miss getting a half chicken, with apple and cinnamon sauce, chips and a wit beer.

One or two restaurants are starting to stock something like Budvar or Hoegaarden, but they are few and far between.

Off the top of my head, Salamanca, off Wicklow Street, has one or two bottles of something.

Hey oblivious, any chance of re-sizing Thor a bit?

It is disappointing to see people put so much work into a wine menu, and completly ignore the beer menu. I guess, like everything, things are slowly improving.
