aghhhhhhh dam dam dam dam it, i drove like a lunatic into Aldi to buy this beer when i read the posts. Afraid in case somebody would get it all before me. When i got there there was none <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> so now when it's to late i check their web site and it's under Thursdays specials. I completely over looked the Thursday special buys thing on the link. Was so damn excited about the beer and bottles. Still, at least I haven't missed out. Nice to get a second chance after being so stupidly non observant.

not to worry i suppose, i treated myself to a bottle of Tesco finest French Wheat Beer. I kept seeing it and wondering emmm . I'm not like you guys most of the time i don't know what i'm tasting only if i like it or not. I'm going ag soon so i'd imagine that will help and i'm trying every beer i can to learn. This wheat beer is the first beer i have ever tasted with a citrus twang to it and as interesting as it is i wouldn't drink a keg full <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> . Do ye think this beer in Aldi will sell out quick or like me do ye think Irish people now are to mean to pay 12.99 for 4 bottles of beer? i'm a little
worried cause i work out of town and not in a 30 mile radius of an Aldi

I am hopeful that the Irish public's unwillingness to try new beer will work in out favour this time round. There are many other beers far cheaper in Aldi that these people will buy by the case for the same price as those four, hopefully very tasty, beers.

Well, I hope so anyway.....

The better half and I split the wit beer with dinner and I had the brown for desert.
I must say I liked both and while the wit was very nice with the creamy fish stew I did for dinner, the brown really hit the spot after dinner.
