Gah! I think I'll have to go to Aldi during lunch tomorrow. Will be working from home, so at least I'll know where to find one!

I picked up 3 packs last night in the Long Mile Road branch (2 for me, and one for my son instead of an Easter egg!). I only tried the Bruin, but I liked it. Not very complex, but quite satisfying!

Didn't seem to be too many left in the Aldi on the Long Mile when I was there at lunch hour.

Picked up two myself and noticed that the woman in front also put in a pack with her weekly shop, so they appear to be a popular choice.

Crap...

I got another few hours before I can get to Rathmines. Will probably be long gone from there though!

I got a couple packs on Friday. I drank a Blonde and an Amber that night. Not bad. There's a good bit of up-front flavour, but nothing deep or complex at all. We drank a load yesterday then while doing a brew. I found the Wit really really citrusy. In fact almost acidic. Once I got over the initial shock it was ok. Had some Amber after that which was quite tasty, and then moved onto the Brown. A bit like the others it just didn't give a lasting impression, but was drinkable.

Between that stuff, some home brew, some Flensberger and Zornickle (now that had depth!) we were fairly fluthered. Not a good combination when putting the final touches to a heavy brew <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I'm not sure I'd buy these again if they came up, but the bottles are bloody great! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

i loved the ale, i went back for a third pack and swapped the wit for another ale <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> i thought the wit had a little bit to much citrus for my taste, i would definitely buy if they came again. Can't wait to fill the bottles with home brew <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
