Number one is Bruges biertje, even though daisy has left it's still going strong. Decent all you can eat rib place opposite.

Also worth visiting are cafe rose red, de garre, the kelk and Trappist.

I've a book called around Bruges in 80 beers you can borrow next weekend

I'd second De Garre ... also I've tried to visit t'Poatersgat but it's been closed on two visits...

So if you go and let me know what it's like that would be great! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

It used to be my favourite pub, fantastic atmosphere and bustling communal tables. It's lost a bit of its charm but still has a fairly decent beer list at fair prices ( but no longer does table service)

2-be Beer Wall is worth a visit.
It's touristy, and slightly gimmicky, yes, but the display of (they claim) every Belgian beer is impressive.
If you can get a table beside the window, and it's a nice day, it's a cracking spot for a few drinks and a view of the boats going past.
