There seems to be quite a few meets/homebrew clubs popping up around the country. Would it be possible for each club to get its own sub-forum?
And could people then subscribe to the sub-forum and be notified of new posts ?

I know I nearly missed the South East meet this month as I'm not on the forum as much as I used to be...

I think it would be best if it was just for homebrew events and meets. Public events and general brewing questions should go in the Events or other brewing forums.

If anyone wants a forum created for their region, let me know.

<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="www.beoir.org/community/feed.php">feed.php

Any questions, requests for changes or whatever, let me know.

I subscribe to threads all the time usibg tapatalk. I then get an email when the thread is updated. Not sure how to do this using a web browser. Someone else might know but I guess it should be possible??

There is a box to tick under submit that lets you get notifications for a post but I don't think it's possible to get notifications for posts you havent posted to or a particular sub forum!

Stitch, Padraic, it is possible to subscribe to any thread (button at the bottom) regardless whether you've posted it or someone else has.

What I might do is add a thread for the upcoming months and subscribe to them.

Edit: getting the message '[b:2cdbb19g]You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum[/b:2cdbb19g].', so can't post anything in the subforum

Hi Maf
With tapatalk I can subscribe to any thread regardless whether I have posted or not. I click the menu button then I can click subscribe.
