I haven't looked at the ie domains in ages, as until recently you had to be a business to qualify for one.
I generally register domains via <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="
www.GoDaddy.com">
www.GoDaddy.com, as they're pretty good value for .com, .net and .org type domains.
ICB is hosted by a friend of mine who resells shared hosting, Interlogic[/url:22w75gec].
I've usually found Irish hosting to be very over priced, at least back when I was registering my own personal domain and looking for hosting. At that time I went for a UK company to be at least in the same time zone, but if I was doing it now I'd probably look to the US as there's some very cheap hosting to be had. And with this exchange rate, paying for a year in advnce would be very good value.
Having said that, Hosting365, or Register365[/url:22w75gec] (that's what I got redirected to) is looking pretty good value compared to a even three years ago. You have to go for the Unix hosting it seems to get PHP. This site runs on PHP but is on a Windows platform (I was originally going to go ASP.Net with some personal projects, but the hosting ended up getting used for ICB <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->) Anyway, I digress, and I need sleep...
