I've updated the calendar modules to a more a recent version, so adding events should be a little smoother.

I've also dropped the mini-cal on the front page and replaced it with an "upcoming events" module which makes it easier to see what's coming up, rather than having to browse the calendar page. You can still do it the old way if you wish via the main menu on the left panel, and if people would like to see the mini-cal back on the front page, I can do that too.

The main calendar theme needs a little work to bring it back into line with the style I had previously put in, but as it's cosmetic and I'm tired, so I'll do that over the weekend.

Anyway, feedback plaese on these changes.

I like the new "Upcoming Events" format as it stands out a lot more than the calendar. Can the items be turned into links?

They are. Or at least they are for me.

It's a good idea, and looks more impressive with a busy couple of weeks coming up.

Yeah, they are links into the event calendar page. It's just the styling isn't set correctly to show them orange like the rest. I'll work on that when I get a few moments.

If it can be kept, tucked away in the main page somewhere it might be handy for a quick over-view for the next couple of months. Whatever you think yourself, though.
