You go away for 2 or 3 hours and find only new post <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

You go into the individual forums and find loads of unread posts

Its why a lot of serious questions go unanswered

Please can we sort this problem out????

Whats this forum sitting on?
I'm on another forum which is on phpBB and it works very well.
I'm all for less-pretty greater-ease/functionality.

I had a look in the admin settings but couldn't find any for the new posts feature. Anyone?

I think I had this.
I had difficulty logging in had to reset password etc.
Lots of old posts popped up as 'New' too which were quite old.
I'm guessing its to do with dates and cookies?
I user Firefox(latest, I think) at home and IE7 at work same issue on both. I didn't dump cookies.

Is this a regular thing, or just over the past weekend? I understand the site took a bit of a funny turn on Saturday evening.

I have found this to happen to me as well,I read new posts and yet found some new posts not show up when I click on View new posts.
