I know this has been mentioned before:

Could we please have a "View Unread Posts" button as well as the "View New posts button"?

What happened today was:

logged in, did a "View New .." sooper - 24 ish new posts to read
So, start reading, then get sidetracked by a post, follow up that thread for some time.

Back to "V N P" and now there are only 2 or 3!

Bummer!! Now have to go thro' the individual forums!

Now "View Unread Posts" would always show your unread posts and not just new ones in the last time slice

Any chance? Is this possible with this hosting software?

It's not an out-of-the-box function with this version of the forum software (though it was there in the older one, so no idea why they removed it). It's possible to add a modification, though I've been trying to keep the board as vanilla as possible to ease future upgrades. I'll look into it though.

whenever this happens to me, i find that view active topics isnt too far removed from what you are looking for.
Not sure of the exact algorithm used to come up with the list but it usually comes up with most of the recent posts. Albeit you may have already read some of them.
