If you get a fix for this let me know, i use access the site from several computers work and home (firefox and IE) and i have to log on all the time, (PITA). Cookies etc are enabled so it can't be that.

There definitely are some inconsistancies. I was able to recreate what the guys are seeing and i know on my phone i had to play about a bit before it worked.

To recreate - I simply logged out logged back in and then closed my beoir tab, opened a new tab and put in beoir address and it was gone.

I think it might be to do with the fact there are a few different points of entry and it may come down to personal habit as to who sees this and who doesnt.

3 places you can log in.
1. When you open beoir.org and a login kinda javascript pop up appears.
2. If you incorrectly enter your details you are redirected to a "proper page" to re-enter them.
3. On the right hand side of (i think) the home page, there is a login box.

Id say try all 3 of these ticking all the remember me and keep me logged in boxes.

I had a few issues with auto log in on my home laptop, and I suspect it was something to do with my antivirus software which was trying to do an automatic update.
Unfortunately I don't know for sure what was going on, but it's working for me now,kinda...
If I go to the beior.org homepage, I am automatically logged in. If however I go directly to the Board Index page, I don't get auto logged on - easily rectified by clicking on the homepage and then back to the index though.

I've found my work PC will stay logged in for a good while if I log in through the homepage, but it doesn't last til the next day.
