It's probably too late for this suggestion (and maybe it would be more hassle than it's worth) but is there any chance the Beoir directories might incorporate a search-by-county function? I pointed a few non beer geek friends to the site and they all seemed disappointed there was no obvious way to search for pubs/breweries etc. near where they lived.

Use the Extended Search option -- there's a County dropdown there.

Hi, like I said great site, but I was wondering why we don't have a little book mark icon like ICB did, for my bookmark bar on firefox or chrome. I like to just have the icon with no description, so I can fit more in, but if there's no icon it just uses an icon of a blank page <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->

Yeah, I have to nag Barry about about all the things I nagged him about last time: an RSS feed for the forum and a favicon for the main site.

Yep Dr. J. We actually thought about categories by county, but it ended up being too unwieldy, so we found the search function worked well. Once there are more entries we'll also sort them differently.
