Hi, long time lurker, first time poster here. Is there any chance of getting a mobile compatible version of this site? I occasionally try to read the forum items from my ipod touch and its doable but the interface could be improved a lot from a mobile reader's perspective (e.g. larger font for thread names, reduced emphasis in the initial list on unnecessary details like poster's identity).

The forum as you see it will cease to exist in July as it gets migrated to the new Beoir new site. This will also mean an upgrade to the latest version of the forum software (phpBB3) which may offer better options than the creaky old version it's running on now. Or at least I hope so! I also use a mobile device to keep an eye on the forum, so I know where you're coming from. I simply don't know yet if an alternative presentation can be done if the connecting client is on a mobile device, but I'll look into it.

Thanks for the reply. I just thought I'd ask. I know that certain blogging software, in particular Wordpress when hosted by wordpress, automatically displays in mobile format for mobile devices (without the owner of the blog having to do anything about it). I guess it is likely to be different if you host it yourself. I wasn't sure how much extra work it would be.

Looking forward to seeing the new site anyway!
