With lots of new members joining and looking for advice I was just wondering if it might be worth while in making the knowledge base and beginner info a bit more prominent? Maybe a bigger link on the front page or something? Don't know if anyone agrees just thought i'd throw it out there

I supposed a new topic could be created for advice so as to make it easier of newbies to see and access it?

It would be neat if the different article sections behaved a bit more like the front page and gave a preview of what's in some of the articles.

But really, I don't think the Knowledge Base works as a complete guide to brewing, nor is it intended to. It's much better for newbies to come to the board, ask a question, and get fifteen conflicting answers <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

true, advice works to a point the rest is really trial and error on the persons part

I didnt mean to discourage posts at all ( or say that the knowledge base was the complete guide to brewing) after all it's what grows the website but a bit of feedback is surely a good thing to improve it? It's just that I thought certain areas arent very prominent
