GONE - Free King Keg - top tap great condition 12 years 11 months ago #1

Hi all,

I have a top tap king keg to give away for free. Its great condition and even has 20 odd pints of "drinkable" 7% kit beer matured inside.

"The catch": Ive just relocated back to London and had to leave it there as it wouldn't fit with the rest of my ridiculously oversized beer kit!

I also had to leave:

2 x fermenting barrels - not clean ( but fresh beer dreggs so not mouldy).
1 x fish tank heater, keeps fermeter at 20 C
2 x plastic beer barrels ( not king kegs, no lids )

So I would only ask that you remove these also when you take the king keg so my landlord can chill out. Once cleans they would all act as great fermenters.

First come first serve. needs to go asap.

House is on O'Callaghan Strand in the centre of Limerick along the river.
Cheers,
David

Hi David, I could pick them up this evening between 5 and 6 if that would suit you? Otherwise Saturday morning between 10 and 11?

Thanks David, I guarantee it will get good use. What is in the keg?

I think it was a woodfordes wherry kit. I boosted the gravity by adding less water and put some black treacle in. Also i think i reduced and caramelised some wort in that one.

All this left it quite sweet and malty and not very balanced in my opinion.

Still its been untasted and maturing for last 4 months.
May have got worse... i mean better
