I recently did a cider making course with DL where he was selling juice at 12.50 for about 4l. He also mentioned that he buys from apple growers in Tip(I think) so its probably the same stuff at a fraction of the price

The apple growers DL was talking about are probably these guys at which one of their members is where I am getting the juice.

Con at the Apple farm does sell apple juice at €4/litre for their premium drink juice for the public, but for large bulk customers and specifcally homebrewers as he homebrews himself , offers a lower priced product.
I have watched the apples being tipped from the back of a truck in crates into the washer pulped and then into the press and it is a first quality unadulterated product.
I know of DL and its clear he is passionate about apples and his products and I did try and buy juice from him 3 or 4 years back for cider but the cost at 3 times what I paid eventually was way too expensive for my purposes .
