. They ship up to 31.5kg for 15 euro, although my order shipping weight on box was 41 kg, they delivered it no problem. I ordered 6 x 6 packs of Erdinger variety pack(6 euro for each 6 pack),only meant to get 5, one beer is alcohol free, one light. I also got a 1 litre glass and .5 litre one also. It was delivered by UPS today a week after the order was made, fantastic service. Site is in german but you can easily translate through google.

I bought one of these, but did it the long way by going to Erding.

That's pretty good, but I understand unaccompanied excisable products, i.e. beer! or anything else is subject to duty, whereas if you came in with that quantity as a personal import it'd be no problem. The point being that your package could be opened by Customs <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> though even then it'd probably still be cheaper than buying locally?

forgot about the possibility of being done for excise duty. with germany being in the eu i did not even think about customs, free trade and all. well mine got through ok but i doubt they check eu packages much anyway compared to outside of eu packages. worked out at about 1.50 euro a bottle of Erdinger which i thought was pretty good.
